Tony Deaton

My name is Tony Deaton, and I’m the manager and a singer with the Covenant Gospel Group. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember—thanks to my dad, who planted that love in my heart early on. I’ve been singing since I was 10 years old.

 

Despite that musical foundation, my early adulthood took a turn down a dark road. In my 20s, I struggled with addiction and found myself in a place of deep brokenness. But by the grace of God, everything changed in my late 20s when He stepped into my life and saved my soul.

 

Since then, I’ve been walking with Christ, using the gift of music as a way to glorify Him. Through the platform He’s given me, I share my testimony in song—hoping to encourage those who may be traveling a similar difficult path. Alongside the incredible team God has placed around me, our mission is simple: to share the gospel through music, uplift the Church, and reach the lost with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. We rely daily on the strength and guidance of the Holy Spirit to fulfill this calling.

 

I’m truly honored to walk this path. It’s my desire to serve with all I have, giving my best for the Kingdom. I’ve also been blessed with a wonderful wife, Karen—my best friend and biggest supporter—and together we have three amazing kids: Rebecca, TJ, and Noah. Between ministry and work, life stays full, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

 

All glory belongs to my Father in Heaven. My greatest goal is to one day hear Him say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
